Our story

Founded in Mason, Ohio. Grown one office at a time.

1st Inspection Services was founded in 2003 by Kal Patel in Mason, Ohio, with a simple idea: buyers, sellers and agents deserve an inspection company that shows up on time, explains what it finds and delivers a report people can actually use.

The company began franchising in 2005 and has grown deliberately ever since — adding local offices across Ohio, Northern Kentucky, New Jersey and Georgia, each run by people who live and work in the communities they inspect.

Kal Patel · Founder

Kal has guided the company from a single Mason office to a multi-state network, with a focus on measured, sustainable growth through franchising.

Inspections adhere to the standards of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI), and State Required Standards of Practice as well as our own company standards.
